The value for money was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and a lovely walk to the waterfront. The staff treated us like family, always welcoming and interested in our adventures.
The menu for breakfast could have a bit more variety to make it even better.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the hotel provided us with a mobile phone to use during our stay, which was really convenient.
The hotel could have provided a bit more information about the surrounding area and attractions. It would have been helpful to have some brochures or maps available for guests to use.

Upon entering the Blackheath Lodge I was immediately touched by the friendliness of the staff, and the way they went out of their way to make me feel at home. And certainly for the next four days I stayed there, I was given the feeling of being at home away from home. The manager, Michelle, was extremely kind and thoughtful, very sweet. I will cetainly stay there again - and recommend it to friends.

Having done a lot of travelling to a lot of countries over the last decade or so, this is one of my favourite places to have stayed. It has charm, character and Antony and his team really know how to do service. They will provide recommendations, help with any bookings, give advice and do a pretty delicious breakfast all in beautiful surroundings. Its the little details that make this a world class guesthouse. I will have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to friends and family to stay here, and hope one day to be a repeat visitor.

The service at this hotel was outstanding! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of top-quality wine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with ample seating areas outside. The location was great, close to the city center and within a short drive to the V&A waterfront. The staff also provided helpful directions and recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants.
Parking was a bit difficult, especially for larger vehicles. However, the staff were extremely helpful and assisted us in finding a great parking spot.
